Your feedback is needed! I am considering making UG available to the public. What this means is that non members of UG will be able to view the content on UG. Non members will be able to watch videos, read articles and view content on the site. However, they will not be able to participate on UG in any way unless they apply for membership and have that membership approved.
There are pros and cons to this idea and that is why I want to get as much feedback from all of you as members.
Some of the pros:
1. You will be able to send non members direct links to forum posts, videos and resources on UG in which they will be able to view without being members.
2. By allowing non members access to the site content they may have a desire to join so they too can participate on UG.
Some of the cons:
1. The site content will no longer be private; in that non members will be able to view anything on the site. (Keep in mind all of your private settings such as password, e-mail, personal setting will be 100% secure at all times).
2. Your writings, blogs, forum posts, videos and profiles will be able to be viewed by non members.
This is something I want you all to consider and please give me your feedback on this as soon as possible.
Please provide me with the following...
1. Your decision either - YES or NO.
2. Describe the reason for your decision.

I can easily say yes. I remember that when I first found UG I was frustrated that I couldn't get past the home page to see what might actually make it worth joining. Eventually, I decided that I could quit if I didn't like it after all, but getting even a small look would have quickly convinced me to join.

Dear Sara,
Wish you a Happy and fruitful New Year! I always praise God for your website and your labours of love.
Strange indeed that God should lay on your heart to make UG available to the public, because just two days ago a friend of mine wanted to read my article on Christmas and visited UG. But he apparently could not. He later told me that he was even willing to sign up but changed his mind because he said – “I wasn’t willing to give them my email id and password.” He thought that we were asking him for the same password he uses to access his mail. Dumb? Yes. But sadly a lot of dumb folk come very close to us and go away because the doors are shut.
Consider the Master’s Words, He told His disciples – “What I say unto you, I say unto all!” [Mk 13:37] And again, the Lord said that there is nothing secretive about His teaching. He said, “I spake openly to the world and in secret have I said nothing!” [Jn 18:20]. I believe that there are no ‘secret doctrines’ on UG which ought to be guarded and made available only to the initiated! On the contrary whatever the Lord has taught us and has made available to us we ought to make available to any who hunger and thirst for righteousness.
The need to be cautious is not in making the site available to the public but in examining and determining who should join us. The threat of ‘False brethren’ is a very real one and much prayer and discernment must be used to keep them out. But we need not fear. What the Lord said concerning His people of old He would say of UG, “I the LORD do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day.”[Isa 27:3]. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is on my side, I will not fear what man can do unto me! Hallelujah!
I say yea! there are ones on UG that have agreed to the membership guide lines that don't even believe them. And it would be suitable to witness to the lost world, as too professing christians as well. Faith comes be hearing and HEARING THE WORD OF GOD.
defending the ONLY ONE FAITH once and still delieverd to the saints from faith to faith
Steven :-)

Every form is an art form, and even the way we construct buildings says something about our worldview. Throughout the history of the church, architecture has revealed something about man's concept of God and of worship.
