Hi Christina. Thank you for writing. I believe that the fourth commandment, like the other 9 commandments in the decalogue, is still in force today. This is because the 10 commandments are the moral law, which remains binding on all people (not as a way to get saved, but as God's rulebook for His Kingdom), and has not been done away with like the civil and ceremonial laws. The civil law was done away with when Israel ceased to be a body politic, and the ceremonial law was done away with in Christ. All of the ceremonies pointed to what Christ would do for His people.

The studies that I pointed to regarding the Lord's Day are very helpful in understanding my belief and I hope that they are a blessing to you.
